It had been a long off-season, but somehow it was still a scramble to get everything ready (as usual!) Saturday morning started out a little rocky since Miles had to get some details ironed out with his license, and there was a LONG line at registration. Then he had to get his new tires mounted, so missed the first practice session. However, it was worth the wait! The Dunlop slicks he could now use due to a production class rule change were awesome! It took a day to get used to, but Miles was holding much more lean angle confidently by the end of the day.

Miles was amped for his Sunday races, and his first race of the season went well with a new personal best laptime at Buttonwillow and a 5th place finish in 650 Twins. He had another great race in Formula 4, setting a new personal best laptime of 2:00.970 and eeking out a 7th place finish. In his final race of the day, 650 Production, Miles got a great start and led the race for half a lap, but gave up a few positions by the end of lap 1. He stayed strong and was able to finish on the box in 3rd place and shave yet a few more tenths off his personal best at Buttonwillow. 2015 is off to a great start!
